Around the Internets
It’s Sunday morning, I don’t feel like writing anything of substance, and I’ve got some funny/interesting/disturbing things that I’ve noticed during the past week of surfing.
And remember the Lord’s commandment: “And ye shall keep the Sabbath holy, posting no new material, only providing readers links to that which struck your fancy over the past six non-holy days. And he saw that it was good.”
- With facts anathema to their cause, conservatives have gone and created their own encyclopedia. Created by Andrew Schlafly, it’s a wiki that allows random far-right crazy people to create facts. Kinda like the Bush administration. But unlike the Bush administration, it’s hysterical.
- Mother Nature tries to strike down Giuliani. Close but still so far.
- And speaking of Giuliani, Matt Taibbi of “Rolling Stone” (I started typing “The Rolling Stones”) absolutely savages Rudy in the article “Will Fiendish Giuliani Be Bush III?” The final passage, after exposing the well-known fraud of Giuliani’s 9/11 leadership.
Now Giuliani is running for president — as the hero of 9/11. George Bush has balls, too, but even he has to bow to this motherfucker.
Feelin’ this Taibbi guy.
- And now back to the lighter side. The Onion’s brilliant “Retired Gen. George Washington Criticizes Bush’s Handling Of Iraq War.” Read it, love it. Especially the pictures. (I think they’re photoshopped, though.)
